The Imperial Lion Dance Team (ILD) is a professional Lion Dance entertainment and sports team that focuses in traditional and modern lion dancing. Established in 2002, The Lion Dance team performs the thrilling style of Hok San and is currently the only team in New England able to perform on a full set of high poles.  We are proud to be the four-time New England Lion Dance competition champions; the team has become one of the most recognized and aspired lion dance teams in the United States. We see the increased trend of lion dance enthusiasm throughout the US and continue to lead it into the future. ILD recognizes and values the traditional fundamentals of lion dance, but we use innovation and creativity to achieve competitive advantage above all other teams; to meet the needs of our clients. The team’s mission is to provide the highest quality in professional lion dance entertainment and to one day represent the US in the Bi-annual Genting International Lion Dance Competition.
