The Middle East is known for its rich cultural diversity, the place where East meets West and where the majority of the largest Oil & Gas resources and companies can be found. While the region is rich in resources it has not to date been a front runner in its actions for mitigating climate change. Things are beginning to change. Having consulted in the region's energy sector for more than a decade, NETZERO share the same passion of both government and corporates to illustrate the giant steps being made by the region, in overall support of the world achieving a net-zero greenhouse gas emissions society by 2050. At NETZERO we: • provide advisory support for companies with Environmental Social Governance (ESG) aspirations who wish to invest 'locally' in Middle East carbon/GHG emission reduction/renewable energy projects, either through direct investment or through the purchase of voluntary carbon credits. • focus on supporting the Middle East’s decarbonatization efforts and thus focus primarily on Middle Eastern carbon reduction projects that co-benefit communities within the region. • help Middle Eastern businesses discover how ‘net-zero’ can create value if corporate ESG carries a clear message of support for climate action. We are passionate about climate change and supporting Middle Eastern companies who wish to begin and/or continue their journey towards carbon neutrality.
