PT Elektrindo Perkasa Utama (EPU) enters into power generating business in 2000. First project is 2 x 15MW coal fired power plant in Kupang jointly developed with PT Indonesia Power. EPU currently operates 4 x 10MW diesel power plant in Banjarmasin which started its commercial operation in July 2010. In 2010, EPU along with consortium of four companies were selected by PLN to build and operate gas power plant (PLTG) Payo Selincah in Jambi with the capacity of 100MW. EPU commitment in power generation business will continue into the future with EPU undertaking more and more new power generation projects all over Indonesia. No doubt that power generation business will be one of EPU's main engine of growth.
