Uplifters is one of Hong Kong newest non-profit organizations. We provide online courses to migrant domestic workers to help them build better futures for themselves. Indeed, despite many years working abroad far from their families and children, most domestic workers don't lift themselves out of poverty. We provide free financial literacy and personal growth online courses to teach them how to save, budget, avoid loans and scams but also develop a positive mindset and build self-confidence. We are currently creating online vocational courses to help migrant domestic workers better meet employers' needs (baby care, elderly care, cooking class etc.) and decrease chances of early contract terminations.
