Glentoran Football Club is a Northern Irish Football Club founded in 1882. The team plays in the Danske Bank Premiership, the highest level of football in Northern Ireland. Based in East Belfast, the Club’s rich heritage and success grew hand in hand with the industrial growth of the city including the Harland & Wolff shipyard and what is now the Bombardier aircraft factory. A high number of the clubs fans and players worked within these industries, under the backdrop of the two famous cranes. The club have won over 100 major trophies including 23 Irish Premiership titles and 22 Irish Cup trophies.
