Highland Copper Company Inc. is a Canadian development and exploration company with significant assets across Michigan's Upper Peninsula. In May 2018, the company announced an updated Feasibility Study on Copperwood, located roughly 15km north of Wakefield, MI. This development project contains Proven and Probable Reserves of 25.4 M tonnes @ 1.43% Cu and 3.83g/t Ag, for a contained total of 801.8Mlbs of copper and 3.1MOz of silver. Based on the results of the study, Highland is now focusing on putting in place a comprehensive financing package to fund construction.
