Dr. Cohen received her undergraduate degree from the prestigious Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. She received a doctorate in podiatric medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, earning academic honors and scholarships including the Durlacher honor award, Merit scholar award, and the Dr. Philip R. Brachman/Alumni Association Scholarship. She continued her education by completing a three year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. After gaining more experience by working for a podiatric practice, Dr. Cohen opened her own practice in 2009.
