Set up in 2008 with the aim of making creative yet cost assure solutions accessible to not for profit groups, community organisations & social enterprises. ACGD is a niche Graphic Design and Consultancy practice, interested in new ideas and approaches for designing in the arenas of education, health & wellness. Passionate about a more ‘hands on’ approach to community centered design and communications. ACGD often gets immersed within the organisations they work with. This is done to thoroughly asses the needs of the organisations, build social capital (solid/trusting relationships) with their stakeholders and integrate them into the design process to ensure the outcomes are appropriate, accessible and sustainable. ACGD has worked closely with a variety of community centered organisations throughout Australia, New Zealand and internationally. Clients include charities, non-profits, green-minded businesses, organizations and individuals such as; The Australian Greens (Political party), Youthworx (creative education for homeless & disadvantaged youth), Inner South (Community health service), Animals Australia (Animal rights agency), SecondBite (Community nutrition provider), NoToHomophobia (LGBTIQ campaign), and All Out (Human rights organisation).
