MaiiC brings together the diverse elements of the industrial ecosystem to address the industry’s rapidly changing labor force needs and the business environment of NYC. MaiiC’s work has four main aims: (i) Organize: building an active, organized constituency for industrial and manufacturing businesses to unify their voice and elevate practices of high road employers (ii) Workforce & Talent: Partnering to codevelop solutions to ensure there are reliable talent pipelines and upskilling resources for industrial businesses (iii) Policy & Regulation: Advising city government on pain-points in industrial business operations and stability (iv) Innovation: Facilitating transition to Industry 4.0 technology and workplace culture to change the perception and functionality of Industrial and Manufacturing
