Jiwo Paro is a Development Finance Company working to eliminate poverty by expanding access to capital, education, and entrepreneurial opportunities for women and youth in under-resourced areas in Kenya. We are active in the great Lakes region, an area which presents many entrepreneurial opportunities, but is underserved by traditional financial service providers. Through aligning locally viable business opportunities and, by training on the desired skill-set, we empower hundreds of people from less priviledged backgrounds to start their own small businesses. This, we do by expanding access to capital assets and micro loans. They also learn how to manage, grow, and invest their meager resources.
