MindCET, is an EdTech innovation center which brings together entrepreneurs, educators, and researchers to develop innovative ground breaking educational technology in Israel and beyond. MindCET is an independent body within the Center for Educational Technology (CET). MindCET aims to diminish the gap between the impact of technology in and outside the school environment through the understanding of the pedagogic implications of technology and the development of ways in which technology can significantly change teaching and learning processes. MindCET’s Goals To be part of the creation of a new educational paradigm. To utilize the spirit of entrepreneurship and the start-up culture in Israel within the practical field of education. To serve as a catalyst for enhancing the processes of learning, thinking and development in CET. The Center’s Three Divisions a) The Garage – offering different programs and professional conditions for developers and entrepreneurs. b) The Aquarium – offering knowledge through hands-on research and up-to-date information. c) The Laboratory – offering a connecting link between the Center’s developments and the schools. The key principle underlying the work of MindCET is the ongoing cooperation among these three divisions, which allows for the creation of knowledge, ideas and innovative products.
