Courses are sequential and meet one weekend a month, supported by online activity in the interim weeks. Field is the equivalent of one day each week, year round. Workplace based internships are possible. The program emphasizes face to face, experiential instruction, application to practice, and inter-professional exchange. Cohorts provide support, relationship building and professional networking opportunities. Obtain your MSW in under 3 years, under 2, if you enter the program with a BSW. The Intensive Weekend program began as an MSW initiative targeted to public child welfare employees and has since expanded to the broader social services and educational sector. Off campus locations throughout the state facilitate access to residents from NJ and contiguous states. The program has an average annual enrollment of 200+ students and has graduated 600 since its inception.
