The ELISABETH PHARMACON team combines a strong balance of scientific and commercial expertise. Our world-class team of scientists is composed of university experts on DNA diagnostics, microbiology, virology, human genetics, animal and plant physiology, marketing, instrument constructions and robotics. In its early days, the ELISABETH PHARMACON Company was known for research, development and producing DNA diagnostics under the brand name EliGene®. Innovative PCR workstations are manufactured and distributed under brand name Zephyrus®. The quality systems EN ISO 13485:2016 and EN ISO 9001:2015 cover all activities such as designing, developing, manufacturing, purchasing, storing and selling in-vitro diagnostic medical devices and medical instruments and molecular biology testing, measuring and analysis. By 2013, the ELISABETH PHARMACON had invested more than 3 million EUR in laboratory instruments and research. The research is continually supported by grant projects mostly from EU.
