Free a Girl is dedicated to liberate minor girls from sexual exploitation and prosecute the offenders. We are active in Bangladesh, Brazil, China, India, Iraq, Laos, The Netherlands, Nepal and Thailand. In the past 13 years, we rescued more than 6,200 minor girls of a situation of sexual exploitation. Free a Girl works with local partner organisations in countries where our added value is the most. Free a Girl was founded in 2008 by Arjan Erkel, Evelien Hölsken, Roelof van Laar and Yolanthe Cabau.
