The Johnson Companies began doing business in 1918 as J. K. Johnson Company. Over the century, J. K. Johnson Company’s activities eventually expanded to the point that three companies were formed: they are Johnson Contractors, Inc., J. K. Johnson Mechanical Contractors, Inc., and Johnson Electric Company, Inc. These three companies make up the Johnson Companies but are separate and independent companies that provide our customers with the option of a general contracting company, a mechanical contractor, and/or an electrical contractor. Located in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the Johnson Companies serve the entire Southeast.
