Society Hill Veterinary Hospital is a full-service, modern animal hospital dedicated to providing pet owners of Philadelphia with access to the best that modern veterinary care has to offer. Our hospital has been located on the corner of Second and Lombard Streets since 1969 and owned by Claudia L. Casavecchia, DVM, since 2002. In 2010, the facility was completely renovated in order to better serve our patients and clients as well as to support our doctors with cutting edge technologies and resources. These include enhanced inpatient and outpatient treatment areas, state-of-the-art surgery and dental care suites, and a well-equipped intensive care unit for critically ill patients. The basis of our model of care is the compassionate application of preventative care. As medical professionals, we understand that if we are to live up to our deepest desire to provide your pet with the best care possible, we must preserve his or her health and wellbeing.
