artsPlace is Canmore's community arts centre operated by the Canadian Mountain Arts Foundation with a mandate to develop participation and appreciation of the arts across Alberta's Bow Valley community. artsPlace offers over 500 programs per year from visual arts classes and workshops to gallery exhibitions, live music and performing arts, films and screenings, to community events and festivals. Annual festivals include the Vic Lewis Band Festival and the Canmore Festival of Art and Creativity.
