Daniels General Contractors was founded in 1953 by Joe Daniels Sr. as a residential contractor. Joe Daniels Sr. was a skilled carpenter who focused on creating homes and maintaining values of honesty, integrity, quality, and reliability. By 1963, Daniels General Contractors expanded the business and started the Commercial Construction division. In addition, they added a Street, Sewer, Water and Underground Division in 1985. Daniels General Contractors is one of the largest self-performing general contractors in Dane County and perform majority of work within Southern Wisconsin area. Daniels General Contractors helps with projects for Municipalities, Cities, State, and Federal Governments, as well as Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Institutional, and Historical Restoration projects. Our leadership is guided by the 2nd and 3rd generation of the Daniels Family. In 2006, we established the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to allow our employees to be part of the “Family” business. Today, we have grown to 80+ employees with over 1400 years of combined employee experience in the trades industry. Our growth has allowed us to provide individualized attention to all customers and approach all projects with the utmost quality, integrity, and efficiency.
