TWU organizes directly impacted low-income communities of color, immigrants, workers, women, and youth to build power so people become change agents in their own lives by addressing the issues they care about. We believe that true equity will only be achieved when impacted people of color are at the center and forefront of the work to change systems. We center leadership development to build sustainable power to win changes and improve our quality of life. Through grassroots organizing that addresses the root causes of social injustice, we - as a community - advance housing, health, economic, education, and immigration justice for our people.
