UGC offers a unique experience to students interested in genetics where they learn about different genetic disorders through educational presentation competitions and debate tournaments. Students from all educational fields are encouraged to participate in our events. Members will benefit from UGC by: - receiving feedback on their presentation skills from exceptional judges at University of British Columbia - receiving a reference letter upon participation - connecting to peers, graduate students and professors with similar interests - receiving significant support and useful advice for applying to graduate programs in genetics and/or medical school
