For certification services, the group operates through the independent Hansecontrol Zertifizierungsgesellschaft mbH (Hansecontrol-Cert). Hansecontrol-Cert has been a GS authority (tested safety) since 2009 and, in addition to the GS mark and the CB certificate, also offers private test marks.
