Analysing the results of various implementations of innovative processes and technologies, including BIM in design and construction companies, there is a clear gap in where the emphasis is put. Highly efficient training of the lower and middle level of the team does not translate into the involvement of the management. The same situation takes place in virtually every market. (I also checked in Asia, middle east, or Ireland and the UK) Whereas, an employee smoothly adapts to a new tool, manager has problems to efficiently direct the employee with new skills. Based on our experience gained on the largest construction projects in the world, we know that only the comprehensive approach to the innovation brings demanded results. The efficiently introduced BIM process contains elements of Agile and Lean approach, and the results of investment in implementations must bring measurable financial profits.
