We partner with communities in Cape Town, South Africa to launch outreach programs for children trapped in cycles of poverty, abuse, violence and crime. Our goal with Camping 4 Africa (C4A) is to present the good news to underprivileged youth in a creative camp experience hoping to impact their lives and empower them to write a different story. The outcome is often immense and many of the children have grown to become adult mentors of C4A who now play irreplaceable roles in the lives of new children who are welcomed to the camp each year. These leaders work to run year-round programs in addition to the combined forces with U.S. leaders to launch the annual summer camp (November to December; summer in Cape Town). The camp was founded in 2002 by South African-Americans who have a heart for their homeland, the children in it and spreading the good news worldwide. The U.S. headquarters is located at Alliance Redwoods (AllianceRedwoods.com) in Northern California.
