Sojourner Home serves homeless women and children in Rochester, NY by providing housing, education programs, and the skills they need become self-sufficent. When families arrive at Sojourner Home, they are immediately paired with a case manager who helps them set goals and work through the underlying problems that caused their homelessness, such as mental illness, poverty, addiction, inadequate education, domestic violence, or abuse. We give families the tools they need to be successful, and then offer long-term support so that they continue to thrive after we place them in permanent housing.
