Clergy Support Trust is an Anglican clergy support charity. With its origins dating back to 1655, and constituted by a Royal Charter dated 1678, the charity is an amalgamation over time of six clergy support organisations. Today we see our purpose as promoting, sustaining and renewing the wellbeing of Anglican clergy, whether serving or retired, and their dependants, so that they can flourish and be fruitful as they seek to serve God’s people. We do this primarily by providing financial grants to eligible clergy households in times of hardship.
