Artists' Collective Theatre (ACT) is a Calgary based theatre company founded in 2012 by Amanda Liz Cutting & Eric Pettifor. ACT prides itself on being one of the leading independently funded theatres featuring and mentoring emerging artists in a professional theatre setting. Additionally, ACT tours its award winning productions across the country as well as internationally, further expanding our company member's careers and supporting emerging artists from surrounding communities. ACT's productions are innovative, provocative, and guaranteed to spark conversation. We strive to challenge an audience's definition of the word "theatre". Whether that be blurring the lines between audience member and performer, or pushing the sense of realism in an imagined set of circumstances.
