This is a small business, but one with the power to dramatically help the mathematical abilities of students, teachers and the general public. Numero® supports Alzheimer's WA (AWA) with royalties from all product sold going to support their work! Numero® is a mental maths resource suitable for all years of primary and secondary education. Numero® can play an important role in developing the proficiency strands of Australian Curriculum Mathematics, especially in the areas of Fluency, Problem-solving and Reasoning. Numero® is the perfect tool for introducing and reinforcing both simple and more difficult maths concepts within a game situation. Playing of the game of Numero® is taught by Julie Richards, the daughter of the game's creator, Rev. Frank (Jock) Drysdale. Numero sessions can be for Teachers, Education Assistants, students (including those with special needs), aged care residents (helps with dementia), and simply anyone with an interest in maths or 'fun games'.
