Cohasset Emergency Management Agency
The Cohasset Emergency Management (CEMA) office is a town agency responsible for coordinating federal, state, local, volunteer, and private resources during emergency and disaster events in Cohasset. Emergency Management is dedicated to protecting the community by coordinating and integrating all activities necessary to build, sustain, and improve the capability to mitigate, prepare, and respond to local emergency and disaster situations. We provide leadership to help develop plans for effective response to all hazards, disasters, or threats. CEMA provides training for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT); provides information to Cohasset citizens; and assists individuals, families, businesses, and the community as a whole to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies both natural and man made.
