Established in 2007, filmmakers John Hillis and Hannah Minzloff teamed up creating Truefaux Films, a platform which develops and produces social impact media content, successfully promoting community engagement on a local, provincial and national scope. The duo focuses on projects that expand understanding, change perspectives and challenge people to take action. Truefaux develops a complete package around each project that is adaptable to specific needs - screening guides, discussion points, action initiatives, etc, in order for communities to facilitate change. At Truefaux the goal is always to stimulate discussion and open up avenues of thought that continue long after each projects’ conclusion.
