Udhbhavaha is an education centered community, a 4-year-old not-for-profit organization, holding about 25 children, 8 full-time, 10 part-time teachers, and 20 families. With an intention of providing a holistic education for the child that nurtures the head, heart, and hand we have various classes like Farming, Yoga, Handwork, Woodwork, Carnatic Music, Bharatnatyam, Kalaripayattu, etc. apart from the regular academic subjects. This not only helps him learn but also prepares him for life which is the need for today’s education. We have children coming from varied economic backgrounds and only some of the expenses are met by the parents. However, for a large part of the running, we rely on donations coming from friends and well-wishers.
