There are thousands of special needs adults in and around Charlotte NC. Most of them are being cared for by their immediate families which presents special challenges to the families. Sheperd's Lodge is a resource to these families. We have a large, long-term goal to create an intentional community that will be a product-producing farm to include living facilities, a daycare center, vocational training, and counseling.
