NERUCA - North East Regional Urgent Care Association
www.neruca.orgNERUCA was formed for the purpose of promoting the common interests of urgent care medicine as an affordable, accessible, high quality, and accountable acute health care service within the spectrum of acceptable medical practice, and to promote the professional interests of urgent care medicine in the Northeast United States. We are here to represent the interests of urgent care in our member states. This need for Urgent Care Centers to have a partner organization supporting and representing their interests has become increasingly important in the face of legislative and regulatory attempts to negatively impact our practices in both Connecticut and Vermont. Our Government Affairs Committee is actively monitoring and impacting the rapidly changing developments in both Connecticut and Vermont, as well as through our region. NERUCA provides regional access to legislative and payer advocacy, world class educational opportunities and cutting edge industry partners to supports our centers, allowing us as owners/operators and staff to do the best for our patients and communities. NERUCA's partnership as a regional chapter with the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) also allows us to have national resources to draw on for advocacy, education, practice management and payer issues, among others. NERUCA currently represents 9 states including Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
