Richmond Vanadium Technology (RVT) is set to become the 100% owner of the Richmond-Julia Creek Vanadium Project in Queensland after signing a Sale & Purchase Agreement with ASX-listed explorer and gold producer Horizon Mining Limited (ASX:HRZ). The project has a global Mineral Resource of 1.8Bt @ 0.36% Vanadium Pentoxide (V2O5), which suggests it is one of the largest and highest-grade undeveloped vanadium resources in the world. The Richmond-Julia Creek area also hosts one of the few vanadium deposits worldwide with a non-titaniferous (hard rock) vanadium resource. The deposit is hosted in soft marine sediments, near the surface (30m) within oxidised limestone rich clay where there is no oil present. RVT is progressing towards an Initial Public Offering (IPO) and listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in September 2022. The Company has appointed former Western Australian MP and senior cabinet minister Brendon Grylls to be its Non-Executive Chair.
