After completing a successful career at General Motors Mark has decided to move on and start a new company. Founding Southern Infrared LLC in January of 2009 beginning a new and exciting chapter in the American way of life. Having been chosen from a very large labor pool in the late 1980's, He began working for the Saturn Corporation three years prior to start of production. During that time Mark traveled Internationally for engineering meetings, and equipment buy-offs. Developing a good deal of the Technical standards that are still in use today, He purchased the first Infrared Camera for the corporation in 1988, and pioneered the use if Infrared technology in process and maintenance applications. Having served on the GM Infrared Standards Committee for 16 years Mark was also able to influence a good deal of policy and procedure throughout North America.Developing "Written Practice" and certification standards that remain in use today. Drawing from these past experiences He now applies this expertise to the open market place.
