Work-Link Mentors offers 16-24 year olds the opportunity to explore a career on an individual basis with a Work-Link Mentor. A Work-Link Mentor is somebody who has experience in the field of work a young person aspires to. Work-Link Mentoring is conducted almost exclusively through the medium of e-mentoring. Work-Link Mentors is run by volunteers and is incorporated as a Community Interest Company asset locked to Rotary. A Work-Link Mentor can help a young person in numerous ways:- Information on potential career routes, work placements, internships, - advice on employment opportunities - CV, Interview and personal statement preparation - somebody to talk to experienced in the field you aspire to - motivation when the going gets tough - mock Skype interviews - a reference - case studies - extending or starting work networks.
