The Berlin Governance Platform is a non-profit organization. We are committed to encouraging practical solutions for social challenges and to contribute to sustainable democratic politics in Germany, Europe and worldwide. The platform builds on the experience of its founders from the political arena, academia, intergovernmental organizations, the private sector and civil society. Our vision is to work for a more democratic, just and sustainable world. In order to reach our vision our work focuses on three parts: Our trialogs bring together stakeholders from government, business and civil society. They offer an arena to discuss pressing social and political issues. They faciliate an open and controversial debate, bringing forth as many views as possible and identify well-balanced solutions. This approach contributes to better conditions for democracy, shared prosperity and sustainability. Our governance projects focus on issues of international development and cooperation, on anti-corruption, the strengthening of civil society as well as cutting across disciplinary boundaries to create a holistic approach. Our governance centers create state of the art solutions to facilitate fair and transparent decision-making processes by helping to find solutions for societal problems and helping the common good.
