Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technologies (HUFLIT) was founded on October 26th, 1994 in accordance with the Decision No. 66/TTg of the Prime Minister. The university traces its root as Sài Gòn Languages and IT School (1992). The Decision No. 1757/QĐ – TTg on October 15th, 2015 allowed HUFLIT to transform from a people-founded university to a private one. During the past 25 years with all efforts of HUFLIT’s lecturer team and staff, the University has been recognized and appreciated for its training quality by the society. HUFLIT has established many cooperation relations with regional and international universities. In addition, HUFLIT has contributed actively and effectively to socialization of education and socio-economic development in Việt Nam. HUFLIT has 08 (academic) departments, 02 programs, 4 administration offices, 3 committees, a library, and 3 centers with more than 180 employees and 400 lecturers.
