Matakite Consulting (aka matakite.io) was founded by Matias Oberg in 2021. More than 20 years of working as a leader within Digitalisation, Tech and IT has given Matias a vast number of skills that he uses in his consultancy. Although his main work focus is leading other tech professionals towards a common goal, he's also happy to jump in and do the work himself when needed. He strongly believes that this is essential in order to stay on top of an ever-increasing development in technology. He has long experience in leading agile development teams that are in the fore-front of technology and work with well-known and lesser-known tech stacks. He believes that there isn’t one single solutions for all problems. Sometimes outsourcing or offshoring makes sense. Sometimes insourcing and local development makes sense. Sometimes cloudification makes sense. Sometimes local hosting or embedded solutions makes... Sometimes... Well, you get the point. His best skill is however his ability to break down complicated technologies and explain them so they can be understood by someone without the same background in technology. This has helped him immensely throughout the years when he's interacting with other management peers and the rest of the C-levels. His passionate and charismatic approach to what he does also enables him to convert “non-believers” to strong supporters of a tech driven solution to problems.
