In September 2015, Aguas Negras Indústria de Papel celebrated seven and a half decades of history. Created in Santa Catarina in 1940 under the name Indústria Salto Grande to manufacture wood pulp and supply electricity to the community of Salto Grande, today known as the municipality of Ituporanga. Today The Company operates with 100% recycled raw material purchased in São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul and sells its final products throughout Brazil and also exports to Mercosur.
