The Bulgarian Sports Totalizator (Sports Toto) was established in 1957. Ever since it has been a prestigious institution well known for its traditions in the field of digit lotteries. Sports Toto’s games have been an integral part of the Bulgarian way of life and culture, bringing hope twice a week to thousands of people through its seven draw-based games and three pari-mutuel sports games. Now Sports Toto also offers more than 30 instant games. With 18% of revenues granted to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Sports Toto is the main source of funding for sports in Bulgaria, thus contributing to its development. The corporate tax of 15% per year paid by Bulgarian Sports Totalizator is also returned to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
