Rehab on Wheels was founded in 2015 by a group of therapists who wanted to make state-of-the-art rehabilitation services more accessible to patients. With that goal in mind, they set out to provide true one-on-one therapeutic services. They aimed to improve quality of life and range of motion for geriatric patients that could not travel. As such they assembled a team of dedicated therapists willing to travel and treat patients in Staten Island, Queens, and Brooklyn, with plans to expand to the Bronx and Manhattan as well. This team of unique, specialized, and diligent therapists is highly motivated and continuously strives to adequately address patient needs. "Patients have a responsibility to choose value in their healthcare or at some point we will face the consequences of a broken system". We are all human. Our bodies are different and so are the types of injuries we sustain. Our therapy services help bridge the gap between traditional rehabilitation and activity training to help patients regain their independence! Using our holistic approach to each injury, we offer a complete evaluation of patients and their home, if needed. This is how we developed a unique and individualized recovery program tailored to suit every individual, with dedicated one-on-one attention from our therapists. We accommodate patient needs by coming to their home and working within the environment that knows them best!
