The Dominikaner Weingut C. von Nell-Breuning represents the rich heritage of making wine in Germany. Since 1670 our family has been dedicated to the art of wine-growing on the Mosel and Ruwer (Germany). Dr. Carmen von Nell-Breuning continues now the family´s winemaking history into the 11th generation. Our estate concentrates on the noble grape varieties of Riesling and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). Two varieties which are well known for their transparent expression of terroir. Also, as the oldest Sekt producer in the Ruwer Valley, we produce sparkling wine from Riesling through traditional bottle fermentation.
