Essence of Stone is a major fabricator and retail supplier of premium quality natural stone products for residential building projects. Established in 2008, after more than 10 years of traveling the world buying and selling granite and marble, owner Glenn Carpenter, decided to start his own granite and tile business in the small town of Parkerford, PA. His wife, Lee, soon found herself along for the ride.  Essence of Stone quickly gained and has maintained a reputation for buying and distributing only the highest quality stone while providing clients with personalized, detailed attention in selecting the right material for their projects. We now carry over 130 slabs of granite in our stone yard and have an incredible array of glass, porcelain, ceramic and metal tile in our showroom so we can provide as much variety as possible to all our customers. Our materials are purchased from very reputable importers and over the years we have developed and nurtured strong relationships with stone suppliers, which enables us to hand-select and purchase only the best products from the world’s foremost quarries. Our staff pride themselves on professionalism and expertise in every aspect of our business, including project design, material specifications, material sourcing, methods of installation, and relationship building with our builders, contractors and customers.
