About Niam Itani Niam Itani is an award winning Lebanese screenwriter & filmmaker. After five years as a programs producer at Al Jazeera Channel (Qatar), Niam wrote, directed and produced her short independent narrative, “Super.Full.”. Super.Full. has screened at festivals around the world including the Venice Film Festival & two academy-award-qualifying festivals and received commendations at the Forster Film Festival in Australia. Niam also directed & produced a feature documentary “Rokam Al Bared” and award-winning student comedy “Nickelheads”. Niam holds an MFA in Screenwriting from Hollins University, Virginia and taught Scriptwriting at the Lebanese American University in Beirut for two years. placeless films is producing Niam's debut feature narrative “Shadow of a Man” which is in pre-production. placeless films' ongoing projects include: a feature documentary by Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Ramadan, Niam's own feature length documentary “Bombs, Bicycles & Bonjus”, and a short narrative by Canadian/Iranian filmmaker Anna Fahr.
