SAC LLC is the largest manufacturer of Oil-field Minerals in Oman. Started in 2011, SAC is a 100% Omani SME company owned by Oman Oilfield Supply Centre LLC (OOSC) and Al Mashriq Trading & Investment (AMTI). SAC manufacturing plant, located in Phase - 6 of Sohar Industrial Area, is strategically positioned within 15 km aerial radius of Port of Sohar and Al Batinah Expressway for logistical competency of incoming and outgoing material. SAC manufactures 200,000 TPA of Barite, Bentonite, Bauxite and Calcium Carbonate products from the Sohar manufacturing plant for Oil & Gas industry, Iron Ore Pelletizing, Civil construction, Piling, Earthing, Fertilizer and Chemical industries. The company also imports and stocks complimentary chemicals for various user industries including but not limited to Potassium chloride, Calcium Chloride, Mica, Sulphonated Asphalt and Soda Ash. Barite and Bentonite manufactured by SAC are API 13A Certified since 2013 and the facility is Environment, Quality and HSE compliant through ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001:2018 respectively.
