Since 1920, Belga has been covering all national and international news, 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year. The information is distributed in the form of dispatches (text), photos and in audio and video formats. Belga’s annual production stands at 218,000 dispatches (in French and Dutch) and every day, the company produces over 90 online articles, 19 audio bulletins and 30 video articles. Belga’s production cover all contemporary fields, from politics, economics and finance to social affairs, sport and culture, by way of human & social interest stories. Our clients are not only the traditional press (print media, radio and TV) but also public institutions and private companies... In fact, the latter category accounts for an increasing proportion of our clientele. In response to these requirements, Belga has developed from a traditional press agency into a multimedia information centre, thus meeting the growing demand from businesses to add value to their method of communication.
