www.women-initiative-foundation.comFounded by Martine Liautaud in 2009, the Women Initiative Foundation encourages the promotion of women in the business world as well as in the economy in general, and aims to become a laboratory of ideas as well as a strong voice for diversity, respect and recognition of women in the workplace. WIF is a non-profit organization mainly sponsored by 3 French companies (ENGIE, BNP Paribas and Liautaud & Company). The goal of WIF is also to promote women in business, women executives and women entrepreneurs, with lot of actions : - Events (+ 25 events per year): WIF brings together, organizes and runs a vast network (WIF's Global Circle Network) consisting of mentees and mentors, strategic partners, company executives and experts in France (Paris), in Germany and Italy, in the US (New York and San Francisco) and in Canada (Montréal). - 9 Mentoring programs and executive programs: WIF set up free mentoring programs for women entrepreneurs and women executives: o For women entrepreneurs : 3 different tailor-made mentoring programs for mentees to help them to overcome a hurdle in the development of their companies. Since 2017, WIF has developed a free transatlantic mentoring program between France and the US and since 2018, a free transatlantic mentoring program between France and Canada. o For women executives (conditions: high potential): 3 inter-company mentoring programs to help them to succeed in their careers: - In Europe, in 2018, with 5 corporations (Oracle, PayPal, ENGIE, BNP Paribas and L’Oréal). - In New York and San Francisco, in 2019, with worldwide companies. WIF also created, initiated and launched 3 international executive programs for women with global universities for women entrepreneurs and women executives. WIF conducts research in Europe on the field of entrepreneurship with ESSEC (French Business School) and corporate European research on stereotypes and perceptions of gender equality in companies with CentraleSupélec (French Engineering School).
