Health Management and Economics Research Center (HMERC) is the first research center in the field of health management and economics in Iran, starting its activity in November 2003. HMERC is affiliated with Isfahan University of Medical Sciences working in a medical academic environment. HMERC tries to provide policymakers with sound scientific evidence for evidence-based decision-making. Over the last decade, HMERC has helped the health sector to improve its efficiency while considering a better quality of care. HMERC has a team of 17 members who are working together in a multi-disciplinary atmosphere.
