So Who The Hell Are We? Half Wild are passionate about underground electronic music and its culture. We celebrate the half wild, inclusive, diverse and creative community we’ve devoted our lives to. First developed in the land of the long white cloud in 2010 to showcase talented DJs and producers, the Half Wild brand expanded and, in 2013, relocated to Australia’s heart of underground culture: Melbourne. The Half Wild team have collectively contributed over 50 years to supporting the scene with creative and professional services and are excited to share their journey’s lessons with you. Our Highly Ambitious Vision To create a digital platform that serves the underground electronic music community. Ultimately, we strive to become a globally respected organisation recognised for its contribution to preserving our unique culture. Some of our key drivers include... Increasing the collective GDP that underground electronic music contributes to the economy by assisting musicians, artists and professionals create a sustainable living. This will be achieved by connecting them with the growing international market of underground consumers. As interest in underground electronic music culture grows, it will inevitably attract those who are yet to understand its culture or origins. We see it as our duty to educate them on how to be awesome, contributing citizens of our global community. We aim to win the hearts and minds of the general public by helping them understand the beauty of our community and how our underground values have a broad, meaningful contribution to society. Our Mission Possible Over the next five years, Half Wild will establish itself as key player in the global underground electronic music community through four major business units; a media outlet, an online ecommerce platform, a music label / booking agency and a business consultancy.
