Waunakee Neighborhood Connection addresses financial insecurity and social connections for families by providing resources and programs that engage neighbors in supporting and empowering each other. We are currently serving more than 350 households (1100+ individuals) in the Waunakee, Wisconsin area who are facing financial adversity. We provide everyday necessities, free of charge, such as clothing, diapers, toiletries, cleaning supplies, bedding, household goods, and furniture through our Community Store. We also provide direct financial assistance assistance with vehicle repairs and other unexpected emergencies. Through individualized case management and collaboration with other area agencies, we also address all the social determinants of health for our client families including housing, health care, food, transportation, education, social connections, and community support. There are numerous ways for community members to support Neighborhood Connection through donations and volunteerism.
